Nissan will be releasing they are latest electirc vehicle known as the Nissan Leaf Leading, Enviornmentally friendly, Affordable, Family automobile in December 2010.
The security features of the Nissan Leaf consists of the Nissan Advanced Airbag System that has a dual stage front supplemental air bags, and has seat belt and occupant sensors. There are side impact airbags for added safety. There are even roof mounted airbags to protect your heads. The Nissan Leaf also comes with Automobile Dynamic Control (VDC) and Traction Control System (TCS) that help you control of the vehicle during bad street situations. It comes with a Tire Pressure Monitoring System as well, meaning you'll know your tire pressure at all times.
Nissan Leaf makes no identified air pollution, contributes in reducing oil consumption, has top of the line security and the cost is in line with automobiles which run on petrol, especially with the prices of gas on the rise.
In a nutshell, Nissan Leaf has no tailpipe emissions, does not need the use of petrol (100% electric automobile), has an 80kw AC motor (high response), can run up to 90 mph, has a range of 100 miles per charge, has five doors, can seatup to five passengers, is equipped with the Nissan Navigation System and has CARWINGS.
Aside from these security features, Nissan Leaf also has safety features like the Nissan Car Immobilizer System and the Automobile Security System. The outside of the vehicle is engineered with 16 inch alloy wheels, dual power mirrors, chrom door handles, LED headlights, and a rear spoiler. The Nissan Leaf also comes with an awesome entertainment package, including AM/FM/CD audio system, XM Satellite radio, USB connection and six speakers.
